Andy is a senior technology executive with over two decades of experience in growing businesses including both start-ups and multi-billion dollar international enterprises. His engagements have spanned across corporate venture capital, strategic business development, and general management in the medical devices, electronics, and optical communication industries.
Prior to joining Biotricity, Andy served as the Vice President of Operations at PENTAX Medical. Under his management, PENTAX launched next- generation products commercially in both the US and European Union, most notably the C2 CryoBalloon product line which received a number of class II/III 510(k)s. His efforts in human clinical trials and regulatory registration in China and Japan paved the way for product introduction in key Asian markets.
Earlier in Andy’s career, he held various executive management positions such as Senior Partner at Sand Hill Consulting in business strategy, General Manager of Xponent in optical communication, and Chief Operating Officer at HOYA USA as a global conglomerate.
Andy has an international footprint with extensive experience in cross-border operations in China, Japan, Thailand, Canada, and the EU. He attended San Jose State University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.
